Why do you always score less than Expected at VTU

I have done my BE from VTU and as per my observation here are some facts,

This is the common complain you will get from all other university students, if you will ask any pune university student he/she will say the same thing ” my university is the toughest university” as the same we feel.

Every university follows a different pattern like in VTU, here we have to attempt 5-Units from 8-Units, 3 from part A & 2 from Part-B, or Vice versa. In this case, we have been mostly going to the exam with 5-Units preparation and the twist comes, 1-unit from ours 5-units is not there or it mixed with 6th unit. This is a regular problem we were faced in our time. Some other university didn’t follow this, they’ll give simple 6-Unit and you have to prepare all and go for the exam. In this case, you’ll not miss any questions.

And it happens we got less than expected marks because of so many factors :

1. Handwriting
2. Not giving proper programming examples.
3. Not providing appropriate diagram.
4. Answer is not clear.

*For messy unclear answers, you will pass, get marks but not good marks. Always write clean & clear.

If your handwriting is not good, so now u really can’t much do about it. but believe me just follow 2 & 3 points, whether exam & diagram is not much needed just put some program relevant to it. you will find better marks than expected. Here in VTU invigilators are not much reading your answers line by line. If you put something diagram, a program they’ll impress and automatically you’ll see the outcome.
